PROCEDURE AND GUIDELINES, JUNE, 2024
Note:  these procedures reflect court demand and usage as of the above date; should demand increase significantly, the procedures may need to be up-dated.
 
Welcome to the newly resurfaced Riviera Alta tennis and pickleball court!  In making court reservations on the sign-up sheets posted on the Club House bulletin board, for everyone’s benefit, please observe the following:
  • The sign-up sheets are divided into hour-long units beginning at 8:00 a.m.  To reserve the court, write your name in one or more of the hour-long boxes. 
  • Reservations may be for one hour or two consecutive hours, beginning with the 8:00 a.m. time period.
  • Reservations may be made up to one week in advance of the desired reservation date and time.
  • Outside guests are welcome, but at least one of the players on the court must always be a Riviera Alta resident.
  • At this point and consistent with current demand, there is no limit to the number of times the court may be reserved by a given individual during the week, though as indicated in the Note above, this policy may need to be adjusted as demand warrants (as when snow-birds return).
  • The net is set at an invariable 36 inch height at the center point 42 inches at the posts.
  • No glass or open containers on the court.
  • For footwear, please use only tennis shoes with non-marking soles.
  • Please help keep the court clean.
  • If you need the court on a particular day/time when it is already reserved, please speak directly to the individual holding the reservation to see if a compromise can be worked out.  Let’s all be fair and considerate with each other.
